No wardrobe is complete without a hand woven belt, in fact there is likely a place for more than one! What is so great about this style of belt? Well, certainly we like the 3 dimensional nature of the weave and the way this adds an additional layer of texture to an outfit. In addition there is a lightweight, flexible feel that is in some ways less constraining than a traditional fitted belt. In this particular incarnation we have used a stretch cotton that has at least 2-3" of give in it which certainly has its benefits after a larger lunch or when travelling. The colour is a Marl effect which gives the belt a nice tonality, not too flat in colour. This is a belt that will be a faithful companion and complement to all sorts of casual outfits for many years, wear with shorts, linens and lightweight outfits in summer and then switch to heavier fabrics or denim in autumn.
